| My
favorite language instruction program is from Rosetta Stone.
It
teaches language in much the same way as a child would learn it as a
native-speaker. Pictures relate to words in building a
vocabulary, then begin to link together in phrases and sentences
gradually and very naturally. The Rosetta Stone method uses
spoken and written words, along with photographs, so the student

| I have also just become aware of Praxis Language. They currently have five language pods to choose from: ChinesePod, EnglishPod, FrenchPod, ItalianPod and SpanishPod. These seem to be short, fun podcasts designed to teach conversational language, as well as giving in-depth information on correct usage, pronunciation and meaning of key words. The young presenters (one an English-speaker, the other a native-speaker of the chosen language) keep each lesson light and fun, while delivering a wealth of knowledge. | ||
